I've had my VN V6 Berlina for a couple of years now and I'm sick of working on it.
Like many of you on this forum somethings always going wrong. And I've seen it drop in value just like an American Bank.
So I've made the decision.
I'm going to offload the VN, there's a kid down the road who's interested. All I've gotta do is lower it (I'll cut the springs), hot it up (I'll throw on a cannon) and tidy the interior (I'll get a two tone dash paintjob with cans from Supercheap).
Then I'm buying me a TOYOTA LEXCEN. I've heard that Toyotas are real reliable, hold their value like no other and have superior build quality.
No more laying under the Crapadore on weekends. I'll be cruzin with all my newfound ricer buddies.
See ya later suckas!

The Lexens are just so much better- I have it on good authority that they are a fully imported version of the VN.
So you will have trouble free motoring for ever and ever![]()

To be honest, Lexcens aren't as bad as people make them out to be. Sure the styling is a bit odd but that was deliberate to firstly differentiate the Lexcens from Commodores but especially in the case of the VR/VS Lexcen to tie them in with the rest of the Toyota range. i.e the weird front end on a VR/VS Lexcen is supposed to look like a then current 1995/1996 Toyota Camry in a way. sort of like a bigger brother if you will.
also a lot of VR/VS Lexcens like the VXIs and the flagship Newport come with really good interiors like full leather, climate control, power windows, everything. Sort of stuff you wouldn't necessary get on the equivalent Executives/Berlinas/Calais. I think the idea was to entice more people to buy the Lexcen over the Commodore seeing as you got the extra stuff like full leather, which isn't common even on the VS Calais.
And the good thing is since Lexcens are so despised whilst being fairly common, they're way way cheaper than Commodores so for the budding entrepreneur you can get cheap parts and novel stuff like interior bits cheap
