Default can i put a vt supercharged v6 into vp commodore

i have just purchased a 92 vp commodore and was looking at the things i can start looking at doing with the car. What other parts can i change on a vp with other models (vr-vs) that wont take to much work to change over. i also wondered if i was to drop a vt supercharged v6 in can i drop the manual gear box in aswell without much work?? hope there are a few car nuts out there able to help with my questions. cheers

considering you only just bought the car I would imagine you paid between 1500-2500 for it. Then you have to source the supercharged engine and and gear box and computer/loom etc. that would cost you quite a bit! Also what do you consider as "NOT MUCH WORK"? No mater how good a mechanic you are, it's not a "NOT MUCH WORK" type of a job! You also have to consider the age of the car and upgrading other things like Brakes and fuel delivery. If you're exhaust is stock not sure if it will just bolt up. Even if that were possible you'll no doubt be wanting to upgrade that aswell. If you can do all this work your self then it will save you lots of money, otherwise be prepared to pay for it.

In the end it might be more cost effective to just buy a supercharged car from the begining.

Wouldnt recommend it as its a **** of a job, you have to change heaps of stuff and imo its not worth it. Better off either chucking a V8 in or just supercharge the V6 you have already got in the VP, would cost you less than $1500 rather than the $5k + for the ecotec conversion

he has done quite a few of these conversions and has most if not all the answers to fitting later model L67's into early commies.
