    Default v8 spark plug gap?

    just wanted to know the best gap atm iv sot it set at 1.3 mm is that right?

    what do you have yours set at?

    should be about 1mm

    really thats what i had it set at but it had very little power
    where i have it now feels so much stronger

    would gap change from 304 to 330 stroker?

    what electrical system components are you running?? if you have it beefed up you can run a wider gap, also did you use just use some pliers to adjust the gap? sometimes you cant get it dead on without the proper adjustment tool.

    i read somwhere that vn/p run 1.1mm and the vr runs .8-.9mm(i think, could be .9-1mm too). I dont know why that is, they are the same motor. But my vr definatly runs alot smoother especially at idle @ .85 compared to 1-1.1mm. I'd be inclined to try both and see which runs best for you.

    I'm running platinum plugs though, not just standard ngk's
