    Default Exhaust rattle

Finding everytime I start the VP up the exhaust tip starts shaking and rattling something fierce but after the car gets warmed up the rattling seems to disappear, or atleast fade

    Any idea of the problem?

Not too sure if it's a tip too be honest, I had a closer inspection just then and there's no nuts holding it on, and the inside has sort of a webbing effect to it. I couldnt get a decent picture because it's night time but i did manage to get this..

It can be the tip hitting the body, hit the exhaust upwards from the end of the tailpipe and youll find out if thats your problem or not, if not it will be one of the 3 exhaust mounts, 1 resides around the centre of the car (where the muffler is) and the other 2 hold up the end of the tailpipe.

If the rattle is coming from under the car and goes away when hot, it could be the cat core or one of your mufflers.

It could also be that your trans is low on fluid. I noticed a rattling noise that I thought was coming from my exhaust, but went away after I added some more dextron 3.

Mine does the same thing. The rear tailpipe hits against the edge of the fuel tank. Im sending it in to the Exhaust shop though to get it fixed and fitted with a new muffler. Costing me about $110

Mine does the same thing, its prob just loose and when you start driving, it gets knocked into a position where it cant rattle, just take it off and weld it on properly
