Hi can anyone help me out i am getting a vibration from the front passenger side of my 90 vn commodore executive. There was a noise as well which we though was the break pads so today i paid 209 bucks to have the front brake pads replaced and discs machined. We seem to pump a lot of money in to this car, if anyone can tell me what the problem is! i feel the vibration under the floor on the passenger side.... we have in the last twelve months replaced, harmonic balancer, change spark plugs and done a oil change, new tyres fitted a wheel balance a few weeks ago (which was due) any help asap is great!!!
exhaust hitting the floorpan???

Might be the transmission mounting...
thanks for that... it might be my engine mounts i was told some time ago that i would need to replace them eventually but after buying the car for 2,900 and spending 2700 on bloody repairs! i am avoiding all repairs possible... any idea how much it would cost to replace engine mounts. The vibration on the passenger side floor only happens when idiling for a few minutes eg at traffic lights... whilst driving or stopping for short periods there is no vibration.
well, im sure it'll impress any female sitting in the passenger side if you catch my drift...
I had a vibration once... turns out the bloody mechanic whom i trusted to do some repairs mounted the water pump on crooked so when it spun in the fan belt it looked like a F**kin' vibrator. paid some serious moolah to have the repairs done, i expect him to do it properly.
