hey all,
Im just wondering where abouts the BCM is in the VP, as i need to change one so i can pick up a car, (The guy has miss placed the remote for the immobiliser)
Is there a way to by-pass them, could i just un-plage it and turn the key and it will start or dose it need the bcm pluged in?
it is a VP Calais S1.
Cheers VNCPTR
Should be under the steering column pretty close to right hand side air duct. Not sure about the other q's, sorry.
i thought the vp bcm was under the glove box?
does he have the other small key to shut off the uimmobiliser system.
it goes in the key in the front passenger door pillar, if he has the one to turn it off then it turns off the immobiliser so you can start it.
if you can work out which wires to join from the lock then you can turn it off or get the key number and get one cut.
Im just going by the vns. Thought it would be the same as vps?
