location of engine number on Commodore V6

Need some help locating the engine number on the V6 believe it be out of VN

Any help appreciated

its on the right hand side of the block where the timing cover is and your unlikely to see it due to all the hoses and crap in the way best thing to go off is the rego sticker (providing numbers match)

does any 1 know were the engine number is on the VP v6 engine???

Same place - front of the block, on the passenger side. Close to where the air con compressor is mounted. You need a torch to see it. To be able to see my engine number I had to degrease the area, pressure wash it and then sand off a bit more crap!
