should be straight forward, im guessing like 12v LED? but do i need a resistor or anything?

If you use a 12V LED you won't need any resistors, you have 2 options
a) Buy 4 blue parker globes and swap them with the ones in the dash
b) Buy some LEDs and corresponding resistor for 12V and soldier them on your self

yeah super cheap, or you can get from eBay...for 4 globes it's not really worth going to ebay though (although, I'm not sre what they cost at shops)

I did mine for about $20 I think buying off ebay....but have since taken them out because of electrical problems that caused them to burn out.

i just got a set in mine cost about $20 and 1 led globe has 6 seperate leds inside it 2 give good illumination should have em in 2 moz

i still got some spares lying around somewhere i dont use em anymore got white cluster background with blue backing on it - so only need proper white t-10 globes and that works a treat too...

Bought mine from supercheap i think $9.95 for 2 and the dash needs 4, looks pretty good but its a little dull

Dont bother with these they r absolute crap and dont spread the light well if u want a cheap lookin job then go 4 it but really its not worth wasting ur time and money on unless u do it properly.

Same as above these r crap aswell if u want an example look in my ride thread on the VP they have them in atm till i get my car back and.... welll u can see 4 ur self.

Guys if u just change the globes 2 any sort of LED expect a poor result the only way 2 fix these is 2 do a custom job that requires a series of LEDs.

haha well i can certainly do both ur cars but wouldnt b 4 free ive not done a conversion 4 customers yet on the VPs only my own, it can certainly b dun tho but theres a bit 2 talk bout 1st with these. yeah the power windows r easy enough 2 do hey, they r good 2 practice on.

that will not fit straight into a vn comodore however the dash facia might, and thats worth 80 bucks on ebay.


Those blue light globes would look crap on their own with the green facia wouldnt they? otherwise i would have a set by now....

That will fit, but you will need to swap the circuit board inside (a small board behind the tacho) and the green/blue plastic board on the back...Yo won't be able to use the facia as you only have lvl1 dash...

but yeah, I can say 100% a VR/VS dash will swap over, as long as you change the backing, and the circit board inside...Most people will say to change the backing, which I did but had no speedo or tacho, changed the board inside and they both worked

umm no they dont they dont work much better at all check my cluster in the VP atm u'll see wat i mean.........

ok on the topic i have a vp exeutive and i would like to put a taco dash in it. it currently doesnt have one just fuel temp and speedo. would i be able to put one straight in and it fully work or---??

Yes, but as said in many threads, you will need to change the 2 circuit boards over, the flimsy one outside, and there is another one inside on the left of the speedo
