Default what cam is everyone running in their vn vp v6 or v8

Greenfoam told me my cam is not a stage three as the guy that sold it to me said it was. ason says:
    the stage 3 crow
    Jason says:
is 210/216 degrees duration at .050
    Jason says:
    the stage 2 is 206/210
    Jason says:
    yours is 234/240

so just curious what other people are running

this is in a vn series one v6 manual

I have a crane 276 in my VP black motor. Best cam for that combo - pitty it has other issues that prevent me getting the best out of it though. "stage" could mean anything to me. Part numbers or specs are far more precise.

    i had the wade 818

    it was .492 lift and 212 @ 50thou

    forget "stages"

people talk about advertised duration, ie the 818 was a 276 advertised duration cam, any larger than that on a stock inlet mani will play funny buggers, i reckon the huge lift my cam had was ace for top end power as it'd keep going all the way to 6k no problems and if i had of done the zorst / inlet mani it would have been really good (it was running 5 second 0-60's)

v6, just go get a regrind from wade cams, dont bother with $1300 crow cams :P for all intensive purposes i only had good experiences with wade cams, blokes there were switched on and the cam was good quallity, i ran my cam for 6 months, i pulled the inlet manifold and i had no bashing of lobes etc, fresh grinds are nice

and listen to foamie PS: i think he has my good tune somewhere with the knock light enabled so if he does distribute it

V6 Ecotec. Tighe custom 225/225 at fifty thou. with YT 1.8 rocker. powers out to 6500k, could take more revs but i dont think the crank would take much more reliably
