    Default Airconditioning on vn/vp swap

Just wondering if its possible to take the whole system off and be able to do it without releasing gas?

Nope. You have to disconnect the hoses to remove the system. Disconnecting the hoses releases the gas.

also a good idea to take the rubber hoses to a ac shop and get new ones made.
Cost me about $90 to get it done.

I lost almost 5 kilos on a drive from Melbourne to Brisbane in my VP without aircon.

Did the drive in 20hrs straight back in January this year, and when we left Melbourne it was 40 degrees. By the time we reached Dubbo it was over 50 degrees in the sun according to my mate's climate control (Ba Falcon). Smashed it all day in the sun, with my heater on full blast to keep the car cool, and when we got to Brissy I weighed in at 50 kilos. (down from 55kg in Melbourne)
