    Default i need help

    i need help i own a vp wagon 92 ive been having a few problems and i know nothing about them first it was the fuel pump thats fixed then it kept dieing i changed the filter too but still nothing so we canged the coil pack tht didnt help its still dieing i was thinking it could be the crank angle sensor but antill 4days ago i didnt even know my car had one so any help would be good

    you really need to diagnose what kind of problem you have, I would suggest checking for spark 1st, then fuel, then compression and so on

    thanks but all this still dont help me im an old skool holden girl i wish my boyfried knew what he was going on about then maybe i could drive my car around

    id be checking compression first,

    mechanical > electronical..

    but it wont be comp... did u change the entire coils? ie DFI moduel

    id also have a look at ya injectors mate and yeah dfi modules have a tendency to play up and cause many many probs

    how is it dying exactly, if it 's driving for a bit then conking out and then it won't start for a while, it's prolly the crank angle sensor, you can check for this by splashing some water on the crank angle sensor after it won't start. if you search the forum you'll find the location and info on it.

    also is there a engine warning light lit up on the dash? if there is do a check for error codes.
