I am attempting to do this conversion, well not really attempting because it was made pretty easy when i found the plug for the trip computer just sitting behind my dash

couple of issues though...

firstly its from a v8 calais and mines v6. I've had it plugged in and it seems all good except no rev counter, apparently i can change resistors or something to make it work with v6...anyone have pics or more info on this?

secondly the lights that usually show when ignition it switched on (power, battery charge etc) doesnt show up, dont know why...any ideas?

another odd thing, not an issue but worth a mention is that the deminister is turned on when the button is out and off when the button is in, this is the oposite of the level 2 dash, is that normal or is something stupid happening?
