VQ Missing

Hi all,

I have a 195i series 2 VQ stato. It has started missing and surging on the highway. It is fine for about the first 20k then starts playing up. I changed the plugs thinking it was a plug breaking down when it got hot but that didn't work. I was going to change the leads but if one was dicky it would play up from scratch i would think? I'm starting to think the coil may be the problem. The o2 sensor i cleaned as well just to be sure. Is a six cylinder coil the same, i have one of them spare here???

Nope the v6 and V8 are not the same.
