Thinking of buying VN /VP SS Are they worth it
Anything is worth it if you want it i guess. Are you looking for a project?
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
are they worth it? are they worth what? you haven't given a price, they're fantastic cars, but it depends on how much you want to buy one for 10g I'd say not worth it, it all depends on what you want not everyone else.
VN or VP, i wouldnt pay more than 6 for one of them, in good condition. flogged out ones can be picked up for a few grand

do they go hard
wouldnt be that much different to your stato, apart from the weight difference, and a bit of acceleration picked up from that. id be surprised if you find a v8 for sale that doesnt have "it goes very hard" in the cars description. most car ads seem to have that now which tells you a lot about the way the owner drove it

go for the vp if you can.
vp's just have a much better level o trim then vn's and don't sound like tin.

maybe he means, quieter interior more sound deadening or something
Oh no, that means it's heavier! Go the VN SS for sure. They look betterAnd unlike the V6 models, you don't have all the engine downsides for picking a VN. The VN and VP V8s are practically identical

only difference really would be the VP SS probably has IRS/ABS

Holden ABS = rubbish
Holden IRS = heavy (but handles and launches well)
so if you're just after outright speed, VN SS is certainly the way to go![]()

Still see more VN SS on the road than VP's. Save up for something better. Get a EVO or build a Rb26 vl commy...

Its ok to have a body skit that screams look at me when its a legendary carI like both VN SS and VP SS's, for such a similar model they are so different in looks. It would be hard for me to choose between, I would probably go for a VP SS because of the IRS for launches and for the fact that there isnt as many on the streets!
Well VN SS maybe very popular but you dont see them that much where I live, If I see another VY/VZ SS im gonna slit my wrists. Go on a 10 minute drive in perth you will see 10 of them. Im not kidding either, alot of SS utes too.
Just remember if you do find a VN/P SS in good nick and low kms you should buy it probably
