    Default Gearbox Shaking?

    Hey all. I have an 89 vn s, and when i first bought it, it was your standard run-of-the-mill 3.8l auto. ive since done some random modifications to the girl, but one i have done recently was replace the auto with a manual tranny.
    Anyways, as you may know it wasnt just a simple case of unbolt/bolt on job, but i got there. My problem is though, my car seems to very suttley shake when idling, but the higher the revs, the more it feels like the gearbox is shaking.
    My questions;
    Could this be because i had to use an adaptor plate, and thus causing the car to vibrate? If so, should i have gone to the expense of replacing the crank in the motor?
    And, if i leave it like this, is this causing any harm to anything?
    Thanks in advance!

    this has been explained to me as the flywheel has to be mirror finished to the crank,now their r a lot hear in the know on this subject,they will tell u more,i would of thought ,the crank is balanced ,the flywheel is balanaced so just bolt them together ,but no

    If you didnt put the spigot bush in, and take the locator bearing out that would be the problem i asssume.

    Hows the gearbox mount?

    Take a look at the how-to me and haydz wrote up in the how-to section.
