i think i saw them on ebay for a couple hundred new.
holden can sell you the bushes for about $20 each then you just need to fit them.

That last one is n't that good just buy the nolathane front end kit that way you get all the bushes (about $160)
and just get the bushes pressed in at a mechanics or soemthing wouldnt more than $100 to do it. So all up about the same price but you get every bush in the front (bar ball joints i think)

Also have a look here and in a gregories they show you how to make a bush removing tool its a good thing to make and you can save more by not paying a mechanic

Probably not a bad idea, but there's where we have a problem. The ball joint has a bit of play in it on the passenger side. Changes direction at high speed all by itself, wheel had quite a bit of movement when jacked up... so the ball joints are quite necessary unfortunately.. they are the entire reason I want new lower control arms.

I'll keep you in mind, when I'm ready I'll probably get you to order me some if you wouldn't mind.

Just out of interest, how does the staff discount compare with the trade discount?

ball joints can just be knocked out with a good size hammer.
A large vice and a couple bits of tube would get them back in.
