hey man i fitted a set of wildcats off a VR V6 onto my VG and i had this prob i dunno if its the VP/VR's that have them beside the gearbox or it was just me but my VG definately had it uf the top beside the block there was also a place for the o2 sensor to go on these extractors but it invoved drilling a hole and i couldnt be bothered so i made an extenton from the existing plug in my loom to where the VR o2 sensor is placed so that if i was to change it again at a later stage i could do so...

    hope this helps you champ

I've got a set of Pacey's on mine, and yes, the O2 sensor is much farther down than on the original manifold.

Passingers side, just before the gearbox.

thanks for this guys. exactly what i needed to know.

my car is a vr but it has all the vn running gear in it and after i changed the loom and ecu the 02 sensor was playing up.

turns out that the vr and vn location of the 02 sensor yeild different info being sent to the ecu.

    thanks a bunch.

    How so?

I'm running a VR engine, VP trans and VN ECU and I haven't had any oxy sensor codes or anything......
