Gears slipping. NEED HELP.

Hey. my question will be simple for people that know abit about vn transmission. (auto)

When i flog it between gears, insted of just changing they rev inbetween.
Hmm anyone that cab help please? I guess i could also ask a mechanic lol. but i thought id let you pros help me out thanks

So the revs flare then change into the next gear or it doesn't change at all?
Sounds like band tension to me.

Yeah it changes into the next gear.. just high revs into gear.

maybe check your gearbox oil level 1st - if thats ok then u may have more serious problems

check oil levels, and the accelerator cable thats on the TB try adjusting it make it abit tighter than it is, or less if it kicks back to bad, but do the oil thing first

servicing it would fix it (maybe)
mine was so bad too would slip and take time changing gears, reasons were...
not enough oil/too much oil
tb cable to tight or to loose!

but in the end its perfect again..i put it through hell but my auto never dies? LoL
