im going to buy a vn 5 speed, extractors, chipped, heavy duty clutch done 250k how many kilowatts do u rekon it would have.
Depends on many factors including how the motor has been treated over the years.
You could be looking at maybe 105rwkw or so...if the motors been taken care of.
give us a 0-100 time n you'll knowhaha..
like crazybiker said.. if its in good condition it would be good
mine had 232,000 wen i first brought it was driven by a very very old man.. it was very fast till "i" killed it![]()
Tut tut tut.
How could you kill a VN? *cries*
Ahwell.
It pretty much depends all on what dyno you take it to, what kinda tune it has, and what condition all the sensors and injectors and leads and other things are in
The extractors won't make much difference, and the clutch has no effect, but being a manual expect a few more killerwasps at the wheels than the equivalent auto. Anywhere between 100 and 110 for a healthy example. If you don't have a catback 2.5", probably closer to 100.

I'm pretty sure they're about 98rwkw standard. So with the exhaust, I'm leaning to about 105rwkw.
year but over the years with alot of thrashing and neglect, i would highly doubt it would be more than 100kw...
a performance chip and extrators wont giv d1ck all gain...
1. I understand about the thrashing. I'm speaking as of a new motor, or something like mine that has recently been rebuilt.
2. Yes. Extractors and a good tuned chip will give you a decent gain. My extractors, 2.5" exhaust and high-flow cat gave quite a significant difference...alot more low down torque, and more high-end response.
