    Default v6 >> to v8

    my mate got a vn ss cheap and hes putting his 355 in it and he offered me his 5.0ltr,gearbox,harness and computer for $1000..

    is it worth the conversion..?
    does the k frame have to be changed?

    ..can some ppl that have done this comment on how hard it was and if you could tell me what else i need from the vn ss to put onto mine..

    dont forget you will need things like brakes, suspension and tranny.

    (nice clean calais btw)

    yearh i got the box aswell..i forgot to mention..brakes i'm going to put an aftermarket kit on..

    so you do need to change the k frame..does all the aircon bolt up to the 5.0..

    Air con wont bolt up you'll need the v8 compressor unit and hoses the rest should work out alright.
