body kits?????

hey could any one tell me if a vn/vp kit will fit on a vq caprice ive been told yes then no so could anyone clear this up for me cheers

same shell mate so will fit how ever i tink the the grill is different and the headlights and gaurds are closer to vn shape then vp.

There might be alignment issues if you use a VP bar with VN/VQ headlights. What kit are you planning on putting on?

You wont be able to use a standard VX SS kit. You may be able to get a fibreglass one, but i've never seen one to suit a VP.

The SS kit will work, but you may have to trim the middle of the bumper where the grill rests. It will bolt up perfectly tho. And you wont need to change headlights/1/4s.

yeah i was going a vx kit but i would rather same model as they dont make vq kit i have to go vn/vp i want the kit fitted before i lower it so i can get it even

found this web site Carmate make kits for any model anyone had much to do with them. as im in ipswich qld the only place i can think of is repeli glass and their over priced

Just buy genuine plastic stuff. Fibreglass is crap.

Also a VQ is longer, The factory VP SS side skirts won't be long enough. The Series 2 update VQ had side skirts from factory though, didn't it?

All VQs factory side skirts are VN SS style. If you want them like VP SS, you need VR/S Stato ones like i have. But then you need rear to match, and i don't know what your going to do about the numberplate, and then we get into the problem of VQ/N door moulds being different to VP

You can add them when you make a reply, under where you write your text, it'll say 'manage attachments'. Click that, then browse for the pics you want. Careful there not too big, or they'll take for ever.

well its all stock besides the fully sic cannon the prev owner put on lol 1500 for exhaust i quoted today pacemaker extractor 3 " high flow cats and 3" pipe fitted but i was thinking i could fit myself cause its irs it dont go over rear axle
