    Default Trip Computer Light Globes

    Hey hey hey,

Im currently replacing the globes in my dash and busting parts in my cluster, Im looking to replace the 4 small globes that are located in the trip computer of a Lvl 3 dash. They are very small bi-pin light, 12v and roughly 1w-1.2w rating, Ive tried my local stores for replacements but no good. Has anyone replaced these before? I need to track some down.

what stores have you tried? im sure ive bought replacements before from dick smith or possibly supercheap. just the globe itself, not the holder too. youve taken the globe out after unwinding the metal back through the holes in the holder?

Yep, unwound the thin wire and took the globe out, autobarn only sells wedge type, havnt tried supercrap, but doubt them, tried our tandy with is a jaycar reseller, he even looked in his book and nothing, dicksmith has nothing close.

Green/Shane has helped me already with the replacement of a std cluster globe holder since I LOST mine on my walk back from Autobarn! But I really wanted new bulbs. If worst comes to worst ill wait for my new cluster and hope it has good globes to use.

    Thanks again Shane!
