brake lights??????

Hey all i agin need some help the girlfreinds car (vn s/wagon) for some reason the rear brake lights dont come on when she hits the damn things i thought it was the globes so went and got new ones. This done absolutly nothing ive checked fuses all good
oh and she has normal lights (indicators reverse and parkers) just no brakes??????? WTF

It will be the switch on the brake pedal has failed. Quite a common problem.

is it all the brake lights or maybe just one? if its only one, sometimes the socket in which the globe sits rusts out or the wires come out of it, if this is the problem go to the wreckers, get one from there and rewire it up, not too hard, but yea if thats not ur prob, stealthy is prob on the right track...for once

Don't come around my house to rewire them at bloody midnight tho........


If it is the socket, most people would just buy the loom, and unplug theres, and plug the new one in

I can't remember how to replace them, but if you can't figure it out, search it, im sure theres 100s of threads in the VN/P section, cause there always failing.
