Oh yeah it takes a bloody long time and you need at least 2 if not 3 people to do it.

NEAT Upholstery do it in Adelaide. (North East All Transport Upholstery).

I think it was $180 or $200 with the material I used which was a bit nicer.

easy and cheap way to do is to peirce small holes in the liner and squeeze glue into them to hold it up. It might not look like brand new but it will hold the bugger up. Done it to my calais

Well paying for brand new superior quality material and brand new foam and paying labour to have it put in is a little different to paying for 20 year old foam and the standard material.

Not that either way is better than the other, but people have their preferences and comparing a price for 20 year old parts only compared to brand new better quality parts plus labour is not a fair comparison.

The material alone I bought was more than that VQ lining, plus the foam.

There in immaculate condition. Why pay for something that isn't needed.

It depends how long you want it for? I'd rather something unique and something that will last.

Its not the glue that causes the roof lining to fall, its the ****ty stock foam that falls apart and degrades over the years so theres a higher chance with 20 year old foam that it will start to sag sooner rather than later.

Changing the roof lining is a pain, especially getting those rear passenger reading lights in I'd rather pay for better materials and do it once and once only.

My old lining was ****ed where the rear lights are. Hence why i bought the stato one.

I also needed one with the rood clock mount, no company could be bothered making one, so you work with what you've got.

if stealthys vq roof lining lasts for another 10 years, then he can pay the 200 to get it redone properly when the vq one fails, and he will only be $17 worse off. win
