Default Greenfoam Tune No 3 economy

I took the 91 VN up to Kadina and back to Seaford today for a bit of a blast. Yep was too much fun

The car returned 10.3 L/100 (tail wind) on the way up and 11.4 (head wind) on the way home sitting on the 110 speed limit

Had to over take 3 trucks and a few cars that were going too slow..... foot flat to the floor stuff. Greenfoam you can mark this tune down as a complete success.

City peak hour traffic (70kms of it) was a very respectable 12.1 L/100

It's not bad, hey I was able to get mid 11s per 100k in my VP, and that was on an experimental version of his tune! It's gotten better since!

    Bravo sir, bravo!

Was following my brother in his BA and had to chase him a bit.... So under 10L/100 kms will be very possible. This was the first long trip I've made with the new tune (almost had it 3 months)

around 10-11 for late-night driving (half highway)
    around 12-13 for town driving
    around 14-15 for heavy traffic

Highway economy is usually dead on 10.0 at 100kph, 8-9 at 80kph.

Ha ha - 18 - I wish The v6 wagon is 10.6 with over 3,000kms on the trip computer now with out a reset. She is driving well.

The 89 sedan still has a slipping tranny I think when cold and is nudging 14.1 and I have reset the trip computer 20 tims when testing clusters. Lead foot driver too........ (yes the 3 crash girl)

And to finish the story the VZ is 10.4...... (regular resets on the trip computer)

Good to see all our V8 economy figures match up ^_^ Means we all have good engines in good nick

And also means I don't need to fork out for a new oxy sensor

It's extremly hard to get these things under 10 in a auto, but the manuals usually can go in the 9s on the highway

The sweet spot for the 5.0L auto looks to be around 95kph on the flat. Best get to where your going and lowest economy.
