Default Very bad stuttering and stalling problems

Alrighty I got my Greenfoam tune yesterday, I installed it today, reset the ECU and took it for a drive.

The car started to stop and start constantly, causing major backlash in the drive-train.

We made it to a mates place, as we left, it wouldn't do that...but it would stall EVERYTIME under brakes.

It did it once on my previous memcal which was an Ebay tune..

any suggestions on what it could be...it's a VN commodore V6.

Dads got the ****s big time, so I really need help with this.

did you damage any wires when taking off the looms for the computer?
it might just be bad timing tha something ****ed up as you tried out the new tune, totally unrelated though

do you have another unmodified chip or just your ebay tune?

check the pins in the ecm connection to make sure all are still tight.
a .95mm rod shoud just drag goining in if it is loose then you need to close that pin up a little.

That's what I was thinking, greenfoam's renouned for his tunes. I don't think I damaged them. I've done it a fair few times before

I unplugged it and replugged it back in, to make sure.

It seems to be running better now, not 100% sure though. I took off each coil, and unplugged the DFI module, and plugged it all back in, aswell as unplugged each injector and reconnected it, and it SEEMS to be better. I hope it is...I really really do.

I spoke to Greenfoam yesterday, and he believes it's a CAS problem.

Is there anyway to find out whether it is the CAS or not?

Just put the old memcal in and see if it's still doing it. It can either be the crank sensor of dfi or something . Or even something wrong with your fuel pump/filter since that tune runs a bit leaner at cruising revs and if the fuel systems not right that could cause it to run wonky but I doubt it would stall under brakes. It's the same tune all the other V6 guys on here are running without problems. But first thing just try the other one. I saw quite a few broken down VN/Ps on the side of the road yesterday so it is the crank sensor silly season about now, happens every Summer

Also TPS can cause similar problems.

But it shouldn't be stuttering and stalling at idle though.

When our TPS was buggered, it would stall and studder at idle, and would stall at traffic lights wen the brake was applied. New TPS, no dramas.

Does the computer bring up any fault codes? Our did and came back to the TPS which is why we changed it first.

I just replaced TPS' with the other VN that's sitting out the front here, and when I put it in, and reset the computer, it seems alright, just in the driveway...then I had the computer hooked up, and it's not showing any data on my throttle position. No volts are coming up, and it shows that it's stuck at -13.3% all the time.

    Any ideas?

People are too obsessed with how much "power" their car makes....it doesn't make power, it produces torque, from which this mythical "power" figure is calculated.
