unless u dropped something in the injector hole lol - cant imagine that would cause a clanking - taking 1 lead of ya car makes it sound sick if it starts - but not clank

How could he drop something in the injector hole? He removed sparkplugs not injectors, even if he did I doubt it would get pass the manifold to even start a clunk.

To the OP.... Are you sure you have put the right plugs in, I doubt it but they maybe gapped wrong or thread to long and hitting on something, but I doubt it.
Most likely something completly unrelated, or its possibly a miss-fire, a rough miss-fire can cause it to sound like a knock, most likely a dead plug.

If you can replace one at a time until it goes away, or you could try pulling one lead off at a time, and the idle should drop/engine get worse each one you remove. The one that doesnt change the engine is your problem plug.

    Default well

i replaced the balancer today will let ya know how i go i cranked it over by hand today as well and im sure its coming from the fly wheel (you will have to excuse my miss diagnosis of area my race car is loud it docent have an exhaust just dump pipes )maybe a lose bolt or worse a snapped bolt it would be a good explanation for the minor rattle i had a while back at low rpm and keep in mind it docent make the clunking noise at mid to hi rpm at all
and i just asked the question as i didn't have the issue before i changed the cas and plugs

and its got oil pressure ect and im sure i don't need another motor
