ok my vn berlina s1 when i start it cold it sounds decent, buring allong like any vn... it has a larger cat back exhaust.
after the cars warmed up and driven for a while and i idle it sounds like its skipping, going buuur phut phut. buuur phut...phut phut on idle
goes away when reving
is it misfiring? blocked exhaust/ exhaust leak?
btw thats the best i can explane it :P buuuur phut buur phut buuuuur haha

perhaps the coil pack, I think its pretty normal though, My 04 astra did it, my Vp does it, runs smooth, skips a beat or 2 then smooth again on idle, kinda osilates.
Not a miss, but you can hear but not feel it, if you get me. Rev it, all good.......
All series one VN's do that straight out of the factory, totally normal
My VP used to idle like it hated me. It's normal![]()

If it bothers you that much installing the s2 belmouth should probably smooth it out.
hmmm it seems a little excessive for normal, i mean i know it would be amplified by the exhaust and all but yeah i dunno. i will do the spark plugs and elads soon anyway maby its not getting enough spark, will see if i can get better coil packs
yea put the belmouth thing on.. should take mine off, i liked it like that
