    he was kidding dude, as your original post kinda indicates you know nothing about cars and shouldn't be modifying.

    As for police attention, if you want to avoid it and have more power, then a stroker kit is probably your best option. Looks completely stock since all the power parts are within the motor itself.

    greenfoam tune, I'd definitely recommend this. All I'd do (and have done on my daily VN V6) is intake, exhaust, tune.

    Just because they know nothing about modify a car doesn't mean they can't. Everyone has to start somewhere. Based upon your efforts there are alot of things you shouldn't be doing.

    Mate I would look at doing the following;
    *Make sure everything is up to scratch (filters, fluids, leads, etc)
    *Grab a VS L67 (factory supercharged V6) CAI (cold air intake) from holden
    *Get a cat back exhaust, something like the redback systems and some pacemakers
    *Speak to Jase (Greenfoam on here, or nicefrog on ebay) about a tune
    *Fit a corvette servo (gives firmer 1st to 2nd gear changes) and trans cooler
    *Fit an LSD or mini spool with some 3.7:1 or 3.9:1 diff gears

    That would be about the extent I would go without going a mental F.I (turbo, supercharger or NOS) setup or swapping to a V8 of some description.

    haha so true.. however I didn't mean my post to be as mean as it sounded.. it was just meant to tell the OP to definitely NOT go and buy one of those things

    Anyway, AirStrike's list looks pretty damn good to me, so yeah that's your best bet!

    the l67 is the factor supercharged v6 motor used in the vs/vt/vx/vy etc....

    And for one, no way would that increase power by 26% unless its pumpin out 5-6psi then by the time its pulling 100amps to run it flat out your losing power from loading up the alternator

    Two, the cr*p he wrote about how and why it increase performance

    and 26% more power is a pretty big gain overall..
    you think, a standard ecotec is what round the 150kw mark? and a 5l v8 is around 170? that 26% would leave the v6 being more power than the v8...

    you pay anywhere from 500 upwards for a decent exhaust system to gain 5-10kw?

    weigh up the cost compared to gain

    A m62 will bolt straight onto a buick engine if you also buy the manifold plate. Theres one on ebay now.

    Do they basic things;

    -Extractors with a 2.5" exhaust. High flow cat.
    -Cold Air Induction. Which one, I'm not sure. I guess go with everyone else and get the VS L67 CAI
    -A greenfoam tune

    You could also go a bigger throttle body, for better throttle response, but I highly doubt you would see an actual power increase at the wheels

    Another thing you could do that wouldn't be as obvious, is bolt on a set of YT 1.8 Ratio Roller Rockers. They'd be nice.
