Easiest Way to Install Headunit

Of course, nothing is ever as easy as you think it is going to be... Just as I go to install my headunit (previous owner removed everything), I realise that the sleeve provided with the headunit is way too small for the space in the dash, and securing the headunit appears to be impossible using only this sleeve. I was just wondering if anyone has installed a headunit without using the factory brackets from the original headunit? I am about to go down to the wreckers to buy some, but I do like the idea of using the sleeve... That way I can easily remove the headunit if I need to muck around instead of taking the dash apart every time.

Any ideas?

You could Pop rivet the sleeve into place, but i wouldn't recommend doing it this way, use the factory brackets, drill a 1/4 inch hole in between the 4 small holes in the bracket and it will line up perfectly.
