Default Many thanks centy and levymetal

hi, guys, I am really happy that Levymetal and centy gave me veyr helpful advice, went out to have a look at the lead, two have corrision. rushed to super cheap and grabed Bosch for 55 bucks( only one available) started the car, bueatiful, no choking and really smooth on gas. Thanks people, do onot need to look for another car. just wondering if I should change the leads of my tribute, a real little sucker, 16 liters around city. What brand is the best one, I suppose the Bosch is not the fancy one.

hey mate, good to see nothing major was wrong with your car. bosch is a pretty good brand, there may be better ones out there but i doubt you'll notice the difference.

the reason why your car was running better on petrol than gas on those old leads is because gas requires around double the electrical energy to ignite it as opposed to petrol. the igniting power was good enough for petrol, but didn't cut it on gas.

if you haven't changed the leads on your tribute in a while you may as well give it a go. not very expensive and may make a (small, but noticeable) difference

I had this car for 3.5 years and already spent 3500 bucks to fix it, lots of fun.

i've had my car for 3 months, decided to keep a tab on what i spend and guess what: i've spent $2861 so far on fixing it, ie not including performance modifications or anything.

cars cost money, $3500 over 3.5 years is good
