Default wanna swap s1 motor for a s2 motor in a vn

hey later on when i buy a engine crane and find a good s2 engine for the vn, what needs to be changes? loom? computer? etc etc as i want to put a s2 engine in the vn as i now agree the s1 are crap haha and its just blown another welch plug so engine has to come out anyway, so i was thinking i might change it to a s2 while im at it, and maybe rebuilt the s1 motor for something to do
    cheers

hey mate. I just dropped a VP motor in my s1 vn and its a bit more hastle than you think. Not too sure about the s2 engines but i'm told they are closer to the vp than the s1 engine... if this is true your best bet would be to change the whole cooling system to s2 as things just dont match up. not sure about the electrics but changing the loom sounds like your best bet as i'm not sure if all the sensors etc. on the s2 match up with the s1 loom. plus you'd be swapping computers anyhow.

hmm did this.. its kind of g-a-y u gotta fiddle with heaps of crap mine was from s1 vn to s2 vr

i had to rewire somethings cause it dont match up im no pro but it all works perfectly
you need a s2 ecu loom
i used my s1 engine mounts coz the s2 ones didnt fit? weird but yeah
s2 vn oxygen sensor <-- it must be from a vns2 if the ecu loom is off a vn s2
cooling n all that dont match up u need a s2 cooling stuff radiator hoses overflow bottle etc.. i did some dodgey cooling system but it works lol car runs fine etc..
just have the oxygen sensor to go :P

and no i dont have any electrical problems!
