Could be a number of things. Try doing a code check first, you will find the link for the codes off the main page under 'articles'. In the 'how to' section is the process for doing the check.

TRY THE CRANK ANGLE SENSOR, Replace with a new one, you can get them check by a auto electrician but its pretty much the same price as a new one

let us know if that works???

Tread hi jack! and it's only my first post.

Just taken ownership of a mates VN, 'Take it, i just want it gone' were his words.

SO... his side of the story was it was running a little rough and he went to perform a three point turn and it just stalled and never started again. (turned over but never caught)

After reading through the forums im leaning towards the CAS. Any tips on how to locate it and remove? maybe a scan of the required pages from a manual?

as if getting a free car wasn't good enough, he forgot that he had beer in the boot.

Its hidden half behind your harmonic balancer. From my experience with the CAS stuffing up something may also fail, i had to replace my fuel pump just after the CAS.
