Debadging help

Hey guys, I searched for this in the "how to" section but couldn't find anything.

Yesterday I took off the "Commodore" and "Berlina" badges off the boot lid and off the front quarter panels.. I left the lion on the front grille though.

Was just wondering, what can I use to get this black glu-ish stuff that was used to hold it on?? Besides a blade..

I done mine yesterday, just rubbed it with my finger, now im missing a layer of skin
