    Default coil pack vn v6

hi, guys, I will have my last try to save me vn next week, car has been choking and lost power, like the fuel is hard to get in, changed to new Bosch Lead and New spark plugs, make no difference. could anyone tell me what will happen if the coil pack failed, I do not want to be ripped off by most of the unhonest mechanics again, going to change it as the last action, if failed, will say bye bye to my vn. how much for the part roughly and where can I get it.

well, it chokes on LPG as well, as far as I was informed, gas do not use the fuel pump or the filter, has to be the ignition? not very sure.

    Default test

take the coil packs of of there mount turn the ignition of for 3 minuets without them then touch the board thay mount to if 1 of the parts of the board is hot the coil pack is bugged

and if the coil pack is dead you normally get a error code 42 Open or short on EST or BYPASS line to ignition module
i wont tolerate cretins aiming to cause problems here at jc and nor will i hesitate to let the moderators know

the coil packs are three small packs one per 2 cylinders, mounted independantly ontop of the DFI module, ( the black module with loom plug), depending where you go, if you ask for series two coilpack you may get just one, look for a secondhand setup, (all three coilpacks and the module included), though the module's rarely are the problem, usually just ends up being one of the coilpacks.

it varies from place to place, best bet would be to ask, or have a look on ebay
