    front springs:

    1) remove wheel
    2) remove brake caliper
    3) remove hub and bearings (I prefer to)
    4) unbolt and bash out tie rod end ball joint
    5) unbolt and bash out lower ball joint
    6) unbolt strut top
    7) remove strut
    8) compress springs
    9) hit strut top nut with a rattle gun
    10) remove strut top and bump stop
    11) remove springs!

Morton, dude you up way too early! Or you still goin on friday nite mate HA HA HA.
My advice is to undo the strut top nut before you lift the car, save having to use a rattle gun.
Also instead of bashing out the ball-joint, just undo the Lower-Control Arm at the K-Frame.
Also leave the hub and bearings alone, too much hassle for a small job
A bit of determination and a want for the highest standards doesn't cost that much!
