v6 5 speed to v8?

i have a 5 speed box from a series 1 v6 vn. i hear that the belhousings are the same with v8, is there any mods i can do to adapt it to my vq stato 5.0L? without changing input shaft? i dont like my chances of finding one of them.

Not a chance, mate Not even close.

The bellhousing is competely different for a start, and the input shaft IS a different length, AND has a different number of splines

Not to mention, the V6 boxes are weaker, with different gear ratios, and would probably break
