    Question Turbo vg ac issues

So i have but a rb25det into my ute.
Just trying to sort out some ac problems
Main problem is that when the turbo goes to pressure i lose all vacum from the tank and air stops coming out of vents
I have placed a one way valve in the pickup thinking this would help
everything works fine while idling but when pressure builds up no air comes out
Any thoughts about what to do? Cheers

Where is the one way valve? To work, it has to be before both the vent controls and the vacuum tank i.e. in the short length of hose between the 'T'-piece in the vac. hoses (that splits the vacuum between the vent controls and the vacuum tank) and the inlet manifold. It also has to be oriented correctly. That it works OK at idle suggests that it is.

Valve is sitting right on the pickup piont on the inlet manifold facing the right way

thought about running one of those fancy pants automagic electronic vacuum pumps?

will allow you to have vac controls all the time, and also won't run out of brake boosterage if you happen to be hard on the gas on full boost in top gear and on the brake at the same time for a little while

Magnas run a small vacuum pump to operate the cruise control where fitted. That might be worth a look, at least fo rthe vent controls.

I think that manifold vacuum from idle, stored in the standard vac. tank should work though. Maybe the one way valve used is incapable of holding against manifold vac. + boost pressure? I think that the standard ones are only a spring loaded ball bearing held captive in the plastic end of the valve. it may be the brake booster valve is the one leaking too.
