Looking for someone that can fit this kit to my VP Berlina somewhere in or around Perth area.
What prices are reasonable and what can I expect?
You could try Spoiler Factory in Armadale if you don't mind fibreglass, otherwise prepare for a long wait to find a genuine kit. I'd wait for genuine after my experience with f/glass, but that's just me.
WTB: mulberry VN interior parts
dont go spoiler factory unless your keen for a hassle. got a 2 grand group a kit from them and seriously its out by cms
i got my kit from spoilertek off the net (vp gts kit )- everything was perfect cept the front grille - i got mine fitted by Fibrevision in welshpool
was 1600 for the kit i think and 1100 to paint and fit - they said it was one of the better kits they had seen and the grille was the only problem being the bits where the screws go in to hold it to the rad support was too flimsy which they bulked up
Either way, getting a GOOD kit is almost not worth the money. You're better off buying a genuine, selling yours, and then ending up with a V8 with the kit for only a bit more money.

Okay you have persuaded me to not get a bodykit.
I will put it in for paint touch ups all over (bumpers, body, rust treatment for the rear window).
So do you or anyone else know anyone that can do a decent touch up on paintjob and remove rust at a decent price (what would be a decent price)?
also lowering..
whats best?
I dont want it too low just a bit lower than it is.
It has a 1.5T tow-bar on the back of it, can see the A-frame in the boot, would that affect it at all?
I want to keep the tow-bar just incase I need to tow something.
any recommendations on how to go about that and what prices i can expect, would they be good?
EDIT: In Perth..
1) touchups are reasonably expensive, depending on how drastic. I know some places can be called out to do small touchups on the spot - used car sales dudes do it all the time. You can look at a couple of hundred per panel depending on how much needs to be fixed.
2) Lowering - how keen are you to save money? If you're very keen, hunt around at wreckers. I did, and after 6mths I had all the parts I wanted for the right priceEnded up spending $400 (including installation) installed on springs and shocks all 'round.
If you want brand new, and are happy to pay up to $1000, then you're probably best off at your favourite local suspension/steering workshop, and taking them some Kings Superlows (or lows if you want a near-standard ride height) and a full set of Monroe GT GAS shocks. That's good for a budget.
If you want to spend more, Lovells do good springs, as do Whiteline I think. And KYB and Bilstein have a fantastic range of shock absorbers. But you're looking at a bit more money there
3) Your tow bar can be removed easily if you want. 6 bolts and nuts hold on the lip, and once that's removed, two nuts hold in the slide at the back, over the fuel tank.
I always run around with my towbar off, and if I do need to tow, it only takes me 15min to stick it back onThe towbar setup weighs a lot, and will decrease fuel economy and performance very slightly due to the extra weight (but I'm a weight nazi and have stripped over 100kg from my statesman
)

lol, to be honest i couldnt care less about the weight.
if i'm to go to the wreckers. what parts do i need to look for?
and with the paint touchup, sorry, my bad, dont really need touch up, just got a bit of rust around the edge of the rear window 2 bits the size of a 5c piece, thats all really.
hmm dunno bout cost - 5 grand for the car - 3 grand to buy and fit bodykit --- for a vp gts replica - what would they be to buy genuine - about 15 - 17 grand maybe depending on condition so im still like 10 grand in front
LOL 5 grand for car.
i only got it for $1300
mines v8 tho lol and we are talking 2 yrs ago
Ahhh a GTS? I was assuming an SS kitThey're much nicer to look at. And much cheaper.
