Default VQ roof-mounted digital clock wiring

Can someone with a VQ wiring diagram tell me what the wiring is for this unit? I know there's going to be a ground, constant, switch and illumination, just not sure which one is which.

I know Orange/black provides the illumination. That runs through fuse 4.

One can only assume ground is black.

Brown/white will run to fuse 7. I can only assume that's your dimmer

Yellow should be your constant (accessories)

So, orange/black is the constant power, yellow is switched power, black/white is earth and brown/white is headlight dimmer?

Hi there, I think you will find Orange/black is Constant Power (Memory for clock), Yellow will be your Accessories, Black/white ground (Earth) and Brown/white (Illumination).

Easiest way to find out for sure is to use a test light and probe the wires on the plug.....

    Hope this helps.....

    Cheers

Either way, as long as you match up the colours to similar colours around the car, you'll be fine
