Hi All,
I have seen the posts here about the heater fan not working on speed 1 and 2 but OK on 3 and 4 and the resistor module near the wipers is at fault.
My fan works on all speeds except 4 are the resistor modules used at all as part of the wiring or is it most likely to be the switch?
Thanks in advance
I'd check the resistor - as you say it's 1 & 2 that gets knocked out most of the time as it's the thinnest wire. There is 3 wires in the resistor thingo that could burn out. It's wipers off and plastic cover off to check.
I somehow don't think it's that resistor. I had 4th speed die on my VP and it wasn't the resistor. Can't remember what it WAS though![]()

Switch itself - 4th speed is full voltage and no resistance needed???? so maybe the switch itself
Solved it after some tracking it ended up been the relay located near the fuses. Swapped it with one of the others and had all speeds.
