hi more problems with the vn today i was driving it stoppe at the lights and put it in neutral and it stalled. startd it again and went home when i got home i stopped put it in to park and it stalled again. i opend the hood and found a small hose had come off the black plastic fuel thing leading to the throttle body. does anyone know wats up with it.
did you hook it back up
yea i hooked it bac up and drove it round the bl it made a small difference were the hose connects to the throttle body there a word saying vaccum. woulthis mean i just need prime the fuel system a couple of times to get all of the air out of the tube.
i wouldnt think so but give it a try any wayz
change your fuel filter sound simple i know
That "black plastic fuel thing", is actually the charcol canister. It has to do with emissions and it basically gets all of the fumes from the breather hoses in the tank and then sends them to the throttle body and reintroduced into the motor.....thats how i think it works nyways lol.....
I agree with the guy above that the fuel filter might need a change and thats an easy 10mins job! Also i would make sure all of ur vacumm lines are on properly as a minor vacumm leak will make it run like SHIT!
CLean the T/B out clean the IAC at the back of T/B, check that the MAP sensor hose is hooked up.
