im wanting to spray my car dark matelic grey
all my mates have sprayed theres cars with spray can and they told me if i take my tim bbog an sand any lil dints
n good primer coats
n pray really carefully
that it would come out good
what do you guys think about this
would it look good

or should i pay for it to be done

from what i've heard it's hard to get a decent finish with cans because they lose pressure as they go, so the end result can be rough. you could always buy or hire a compressor and spray gun and do it that way.

you might end up with patches and things your best to get a compreser + if ur car looks hot so will the ladies *wink*

thats what i was thinking
do the priermer grey with cans
then do the matalic grey n clear coat with spray gun does it sound good anything els tht will need to be done

Dont do the whole car with cans even primer, the prep is the most important part. Though if you have no experience using a gun I would just pay someone to do it.

i can use a gun i used do airbrusing n stuff like that but never had done a car befor i wanna get best jub i can but i rekon doing it myself n taking my time n doing it right will be best

Best to use a spray gun or get someone to do it for you. Spray cans won't give a nice metallic finish which is what you want. Your mates are correct with taking your time with bog and primer etc, as any dints will show up heaps with a metallic finish. But yeah you will get a crap finish from using cans, they always turn out dull.
