Strange, Kings and Lovells are same price here, I opt for lovells but only because I had kings in my VR and 2 of the coils kept touching each other (which is fine) but they made a horrible noise when turning.

get a trade account and you can pick up king springs sets for 100 bucks, 200 for front & rear which is half the recommended retail price

I run Kings Superlows in the front of my VQ, and Lovells Superlows in the back. Both do a fantastic job I think if you're just an enthusiast who likes a quick dart through the hills once in a while, Kings will suit you just fine when paired up with good shocks.

with a set of FE2 KYB shocks, the stiffer coiled king springs and good condition bump stops it will be a nice combo but wont be the smoothest as the king springs are quite stiff.

I distribute suspension components, lovells have just as thick a coil as king springs just there name isnt anywhere as big.

Having both Lovells and Kings, I found Lovells were better for handling but Kings were better for ride quality. If you're not going overly low I'd suggest the Lovells but if you want it dumped and don't want spine problems get the kings.

1 thing you will learn about morton in time is that he doesn't like passenger's.... they weigh to much lol

OH and he likes his handling so a harder spring will stop it from rolling..

i dont know why but i always thought it was the other way with lovells/kings, but spring threads dont pop up as much as they used to lol

Which in my world, means that every time I go over a speed hump your dentures fall out

I have linear lovells in the backside of my VQ and the coils are FAT as anything. This is a stand-in replacement for anti-roll, as I can't afford swaybars at the moment. Once I get a good set of thicker swaybars in the back, I may get slightly softer springs. I'll work it out later \

So Kings for comfort, Lovells for a firmer ride.

Depends. Every manufacturer makes a whole range of different springs.

I specifically have linear springs up the back. You can get progressives with have a "soft spot". I'm sure you could get a hold of progressives

Most King Springs are also progressive rate, especially in the rear.

you need to be buying around 500 dollars worth of stuff minimum a month for that to happen at most places, but you can open one, buy the stuff and never go back if you want to.

Just go to your local repco/global auto/bursons etc and fill out a form
