just bought a vr with irs. currently own vn commodore will my mags fit 17inch.they were originaly on a commodore but forget what model. bit worried about this.

All commodore wheels will fit, bar VE wheels that need machining.

The only issue I can see, is that if they're from a non-IRS car they'll have a slightly different offset - but I'm betting being 17s they're offset for later model IRS, so you should be sweet

No worries mate. The worst that's going to happen, is that you'll get a bit of tyre scrub on the inside up the back. But you know, what's the worst that can happen? You try, they scrub, you take them off. Nobody gets hurt!

If theres no weight in the rear and the shocks are in good condition then there wont be much drama if any at all. I find its when you put alot of weight in the ass then the wheels tend to squat alot more and the camber ange is crazy..

thanks for all the help guys. no problems with the wheels fit a ok just need shockers front and rear. goes a hell of a lot better than my vn and its on gas.
