'90 VN 3.8L A4 Executive Wagon @ 206,000kms: some performance chip, front brakes (calipers and discs) from a V8 VL or VN, 15" steel rims, suspension rebuilt, newer 2nd hand auto (since the original blew up).

so i get around 350-500kms on my 68L tank. true i drive quite hard and i suspect the odometer is out by up to 15% but it still seems a bit low, what do you guys expect i should get? anything wrong or should i just drive like a little old lady? :P

350 - 500 sounds about right. Most I ever got out of my V6 88 wagon was 625 kms going to WA. Currently getting 10.6 L/100 (8 L/100 on the open road). The 89 VN I have is using 13 L/100 around town. The 91 V8 is getting 14 - 16 around town and as low as 11 on the open road.

my vn used to use a bit...me VS i have now gets about 700+ on open high way. if i dont be too rough...but its got less the 90 000 on the clock

I can get 650 out of the 5 litre during general daily highway use MIGHT make 700 if I drove in a really straight line and didnt stop untill it ran out. 700+ in the V6 no problem

850 in the 2.4 TF magna, and didnt run it bone dry there was still a lil bit left.
Old commodore i had VN V6 got 550klm with alot of overtaking,

I always fill up with a 1/4 left and usaly done about 400km highway and city.

i usually get about the high 400 km to low 500 km city driving and was getting between 650-700 km per tank when drove to NSW
