    Chrome lips = ebay or autobarn, centrecaps = ebay.

    i prefer stockies without centrecaps. had them on my old car, but it looks tougher without them. chrome lips are also available at bursons (saw them the other day)

    keep searching until you find the 7 inch wide rims (stock is onyl 6 inch) they handle a little better but are also more expensive if the person selling them to you know what they are..

    Anyway i prefer CLEAN interceptors with hubcaps keeps the cops away

    Alloy rims are so cheap these days and so many shapes and sizes i can't see why you'd bother, and no one should put interceptors on Stato's and Calais!!!!!!
    But hey what ever floats your boat!

    Yeah interceptor look wheels wether 15x6 or 15x7 look great with chrome trims on the RIGHT car but I may be biased. I am not real keen on 16inch VE wheels on VN-VP though

    15x7 = interceptors = win. 15x6 = painted stockies = fail

    old thread, but anyway when a 225 fits on a 6" rim then i don't see why it matters . you don't need any wider than that so 15x7 or 15x6 who cares. may as well save the money for something else. and mortons stato should be running on silver ceptors all the time, that would be sex

    225 on a 15x6 makes you crab...

    Just because you can physically fit a tire to a rim, it doesnt mean its a good idea

    can you elaborate on this? padrickz, myself, and a few others are running 225s on a 6" rim and i certainly haven't had or heard of any problems, but i don't know what crab means

    Just to throw my 2 cents in but when you go to the wreckers allways have a quick look in the back of any holdens there cuz most of the time there are interceptors as spares with brand new tyres and they go cheap!!!!

    Too miuch bulge in the sidewall, and it leads to a lot of sideways movement or 'rolling' of the tire.

    I have actually taken to running a 205/60 on my 15x7s, you stick a hell of a lot better in corners - which more than makes up for the lost 20mm in tread width (vs a 225)

    Interesting, I might stick with 205s on my front 7s and try force a 245 on the rear ones... need all the straight line rear grip i can get :P
