Hey guys. i am halfway through converting my comnodore from auto to manual.
the one i am converting is a bt1 or bt2. i am wondering wether i need to change the wiring loom to the speedo. i hav asked a few mates but they arent sure. i just want to do this once so i dont want any screw ups.

You don't need to change the wiring loom at all. Just plug the speed sensor plug into the sensor on your manual box, and win!

As morton said - no speedo change at all
There should be a manual harness that plugs into the same plug that the auto harness attached to just in the centre console. Very easy and straight forward.

At the rate VNs are being written off, and the rate that manual conversions are increasing, we can only hope that in the future, 50% of all VN/VPs will be manual
