    Question Radiator ID anyone?

    Hey folks!

I wonder if anyone could ID this rad? I was told it may be from a V6 VN series 1 - but the VN rads I've seen have two extra ports on one of the tanks...

The connection to the the top left is not OEM - It looks as though the original port has been sawn off and this new one added after the hole had been threaded.

It was made by Calsonic - I think they closed down a while ago now:

I would like to ID it and find a supplier - I need a couple if I can find them

    Thanks

    Chris.

Looks like a series 1 manual radiator. The two extra ports you're familiar with, are for the trans fluid core.

    Hey

    Thanks for the confirmation

Does anyone know where I can get these new? I can only find new ones with the auto trans ports?

    Cheers!

You can safely use one with the auto trans ports. I'm running a manual V8 and using the auto radiator.

You can find aftermarket manual radiators with the cap, to suit a series 2 setup. Probably better to do that, and upgrade to series 2 overflow/washer bottles while you're at it. Much tidier, and worth the expense while you're there.
