What mods shall i do with it?
Dont want to touch the engine at the moment jsut cosmetic stuff ie wheels, paint and some interior
Wrong section mate.
Post it here: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ore-1988-1993/
if you were any sort of person, you would offer her money for it.
even a token amount like $500.
as for what to do with the car, bring it back to as new.
fix the rips, fix the paint and then go from there.
Also agree with these guys.
Even go over and spend an hour listening to her repeat stories (if she's anything like my Nana, you'll go over the same 4 stories about 6 times in that time).
She'd probably be very lonely now, and just think, you don't have to tell your friends your doing it.

I say, don't mod it. Keep it clean and original. There's not many VQs left around that have been well looked after - don't molest it. They're a beautiful and rare car.
Then (like it needs be said) find a way to repay the dear old lady.![]()

Wow mate you should feel very privileged! I agree with all the guys who posted. The least you could do is be there for this older women. Just offer your help or a give a gift at the least. VQ Statesman's are definitely a collectors item and keeping it original would be doing it justice. My neighbour was kind enough to offer me free parts for my VN, having three of his own, so I gave him a gift card for supercheap to show my appreciation. Just little things will show you're appreciative of her gift to you![]()
